Privacy Policy

Qiqi Digital Solutions Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains how the Unzip app for iPhone and iPad handles information.

Local archive processing

Unzip is designed to process your archives and files on your device. We do not operate an account system for Unzip, and the app does not upload your archives, extracted files, previews, filenames, passwords, or file contents to Qiqi Digital servers.

Data stored on your device

To provide its features, Unzip may store imported archive working copies, extracted files, preview thumbnails, temporary previews, recent activity, app preferences, and background-extraction state on your device or in the app's private shared container. Archive passwords are used to perform the action you request and are not saved as a reusable password record.

You control this information. You can remove individual recent items, clear temporary files, and choose how long archive working copies are retained from Unzip's Settings. You can delete exported or extracted files using the Files app. Deleting Unzip removes information held inside its app container, subject to the normal behavior of iOS backups and files you previously exported elsewhere.

Files, Photos, and Face ID

Unzip accesses files only when you select them, open them with Unzip, or send them to Unzip through an iOS extension. If you choose to save an image, the app may request add-only access to your Photos library. If you enable App Lock, iOS performs Face ID or device authentication; Unzip does not receive or store your biometric data.

You can revoke Photos access at any time in iOS Settings and turn off App Lock in Unzip's Settings. Revoking a permission stops future access that depends on that permission but does not delete files you previously exported.

Purchases

Optional purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Qiqi Digital does not receive your payment-card details. Unzip receives the product and transaction status needed to unlock purchases and restore access. Apple handles this information under its own privacy policy.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Unzip does not include third-party advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking, and Qiqi Digital does not sell information about your use of Unzip.

Sharing and other services

If you choose to export, share, or open a file in another app, iOS sends it to the destination you select. How that destination handles the file is governed by its own privacy practices.

We do not share personal information with third parties for advertising or tracking. If a service provider processes personal information on our behalf, we require it to protect that information consistently with this policy and applicable law, and to use it only to provide the relevant service.

Support communications

If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message. We use it to respond, provide support, maintain necessary business records, and protect our services from misuse. Do not send us sensitive archives or passwords.

Retention and your choices

Information stored by Unzip remains on your device according to your settings and actions. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for support, business, legal, and security purposes. To request access to or deletion of personal information you sent directly to us, email support@qiqidigital.com with the subject “Unzip Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required by law.

Because archives, previews, passwords, and extracted files are not uploaded to us, we cannot access or delete those files remotely. You can delete them using Unzip's controls, the Files app, or by deleting Unzip.

Children

Unzip is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Unzip or our legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date.
